A free interactive Spanish course designed especially for international and English-medium educational environments.
START FREE COURSEThis course has been developed for English-speaking students learning Spanish as a foreign language, particularly in international and English-medium educational settings. Book 1 introduces Spanish progressively at A1 level through clear explanations, practical examples, guided activities and regular opportunities to use previously learned language.
The course is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) at A1 level and is designed within the context of ELE – Español como Lengua Extranjera (Spanish as a Foreign Language).
Book 1 contains 40 classes. Each regular class is designed for approximately 40–50 minutes of study and combines explanation, practice and consolidation.
This course has grown through classroom experience and collaboration with students and teachers from different schools and countries.
Students have played an important role in its development. Their suggestions about vocabulary, examples, exercises and the way activities are presented have helped shape the course.
Feedback from teachers and participating schools is also taken into account as the course is regularly reviewed and improved.
A course for students, shaped with students.The drawings and visual ideas used throughout the course were created by or inspired by students learning Spanish at A1 level. Their simple style is intentional and reflects the way beginners understand, remember and represent new words and ideas.

Students who successfully complete the course and meet the required assessment standard may request an electronic Certificate of Completion issued by Tuscany Avant Garde International School (TAGIS).
Certificate eligibility requires a score of 80% or higher in the Final Assessment.
